Sharm desert adventure (5x1)
Make the most of your holiday with this 5 in 1 trip out into the Sinai Desert. Start with action-packed activities: quad biking and camel riding. Before travelling on a traditional Bedouin camp to sip tea and watch the sunset over the rose coloured mountains of Sharm el Sheikh. You will then enjoy a traditional Bedouin dinner and evening entertainment of belly dancing and fire eating. Finally as the night descends and the stars come out, you will have the unique experience of star gazing.
Our rep will pick you up from your hotel and you will be driven about 30 minutes into the desert to the quad bike centre.
Your instructor will set you up with your safety helmets and give you instructions on how to safely drive the quad bike.
First you will drive on your quad for about 20 minutes over flat desert sand to get used to the bike and gain your confidence. At all times you will be driving in a group and have your guide driving near you in case you require assistance.
You will then drive out to a valley between the mountains. Here the group will spend roughly 40 minutes making the most of the sand dunes and hills in the area.
Next on the itinerary is camel riding. You will spend about 30 minutes riding.
After your camel ride, we will travel to the Bedouin camp and take our first glimpse of traditional Bedouin life. Sit down in one of the tents and sip Habbak tea and relax for a short time before sunset.
Sunset over Wadi-Mander Valley
We will ascend a small hill to capture the breath-taking views as the sun sets over the Wadi-Mander Valley.
Make your way back down the hill to the tents in time for dinner. Our company ensures the highest quality of food hygiene, using mineral water for cooking, fresh produce cooked over an open fire. You can really enjoy the buffet style dinner and complimentary soft drinks.
Finally we will sit down to an hour of fire eating, belly dancing and Tannoura. You can even go up on stage and try belly dancing!
After dinner, our Bedouin guide will escort the group over to where the telescopes are set up to begin the star gazing. An English-speaking astronomer will speak to the group and explain what you can expect to see on that night; usually you will be able to see the moon’s craters, Saturn, star constellations and maybe even Mars.
At the end of the evening your guide will transfer you back to your hotel.
